The journal aims to inspire clinicians, practitioners, scientists and engineers to work towards a common goal to improve the quality of life in the international community. SMARTT is affiliated with the Japanese Orthopaedic Society for Knee Surgery Arthroscopy And Sports Medicine (JOSKAS).
